This ‘story’ my teacher told us.There was a very old woman who lived all alone. Once, early in the morning she was searching for her spectacles. She saw everywhere. On the tables, dressing table, dinning table, in the cupboard, in the casket too. All the possible places where the spectacles could be. She accidentally looked into the mirror and it was actually in front of her eyes. She was wearing it.Like the old lady,We too slog for happiness. Search here and there. Its like wasting your beautiful Sunday worrying about Monday. But happiness is actually with us. Still we search for it.
I liked a statement given by Sir Rev Run. He says, “Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
I don’t say that we shouldn’t work hard for money because money is also an essential part of life, but after all it is just a part.
A beautiful house is made, never bought. A family that eats together – stays together, laughs, loves and has the most precious happiness in the world.
Once when Someone asked me how to spell ‘happy’? I said ‘FAMILY’. The only thing can make you happy are small pleasures of life because material possessions are not enough for a fairy-tale life. We desire Benz, Audi and all the big names but walking with a loved one gives us immense pleasure. We behave in 5-7 stars because those are sophisticated areas but just go with your friends to the roadside vendor, I guess that would bring more joy than the 7 stars.
The only thing I want to convey is live in the present, love your family and that is where your happiness lies.
