He looked back. There was nothing, nobody. He turned around and began to walk again, humming a song that refused to leave his lips. He felt a tap on his shoulders. There was definitely someone behind him. He was afraid to look behind. He took a deep breath and turned, only to find nobody. He began to walk again, this time, with more fear and acutely paying attention to any more movements in his surrounding.
“Stop. I need help.” A voice, much familiar said. He turned around, firmly closing his fists, maybe to gather some strength? But again, there was nothing, nobody.
“Who are you? And why don’t you show up if you need my help?” His voice stirred with fear. He tried to show courage, but obviously, he didn’t have any. Little did he realise, that he was afraid of his own shadow.
